About me
From a young age, I spent a lot of time drawing. Cartoon characters, people, anything that piqued my curiosity. Drawing came naturally to me, although for many years I set it aside.
Until one day I discovered the work of an artist who inspired me to paint again. I started almost without knowing where I was going, simply with the desire to try. And I haven't stopped since.
Today I continue to explore. I explore color, materials, and paint to create works that bring character to the spaces we inhabit.
I enjoy experimenting with different ways of working. Some pieces start with a very concrete idea; others emerge as I paint. Sometimes I start with an image, other times with a color, a texture, or simply the desire to try something different.
I don't feel like I have to find a single style and stick with it. My tastes change, and my painting changes with me. What interests me today may be different from what interested me a few years ago, and will probably also be different a few years from now.
For me, painting is precisely that: continuing to discover.
